NICK FADRIEL fell in love with music at age 11 after joining a church band. As a vocalist, he had won several singing competitions. Apart from being active with various music events, he also loves composing music. His musical style is influenced by genres such as pop, reggae and slow rock. His dream is to start his own recording studio and to bring the
local music industry to international level. He became a member of Sada Borneo since 2013.
ALLISTER ANAK CHANGAT (ALLISTER)

ALLISTER’S involvement as a musician in his church youth group sparked his passion in music. He is influenced by musicians such as Walk off the Earth, Paramore and Sungha Jung. He took up Sape’ after meeting with Hallan during his first year of study in Universiti Sains Malaysia. Differ from his musical role in SADA BORNEO today; his very first performance in USM was as a bassist for Malam Citra Bayu 2013 alongside Alvin, Wilker and Hilmi.
KHOO WEI EN (WEI EN)

WEI EN is a passionate, soulful musician who writes, arranges, performs and teaches music. He started learning the electone organ & keyboards at the age of 5, then the piano at the age of 15. He also started exploring various genres of music such as Pop, Jazz, R&B, Funk and many more. He has been active in the local music scene since 2016, recognized by his virtuoso keyboard skills and music arrangements with his band, records music for local singers and musicians. He started to become a member of Sada Borneo in 2020.
KASIMAN BIN BASMAN (APENG)

APENG a seasoned percussionist with a passion that ignited at the tender age of 7. Eager to expand his skills further, he sought guidance from music teachers in Penang and Sabah, dedicating himself to mastering the rhythmic intricacies of various percussion instruments. Proficient in a diverse array of percussion instruments including rebana, djembe, congo, bongo, darbuka, kulintangan, gong, and even toy percussion, Apengs expertise is as diverse as it is impressive. Since 2009, Penang has been home, where he married in 2013. His musical journey reached new heights when he joined Sada Borneo in 2016, where his talent and dedication continue to resonate with audiences.
MOHD FAISAL BIN MOHAMED ZIN (FAISAL)

Faisal’s journey with music began at the age of 10, when he first picked up a guitar. Starting with self-learning, he honed his skills over the years, eventually seeking formal lessons with a lecturer from UITM and later pursued Music Pedagogy and Performance at USM. Since 2018, Faisal has been lending his rhythmic prowess to Sada Borneo, contributing to their unique blend of traditional, modern, ethnic, and nature-inspired music. His journey from a self-taught guitarist to a key member of the band is a testament to his dedication and love for creating captivating tunes.
RAZALI BIN DAIM (WAK)

WAK’s musical journey began at the age of 12. Over the years, he honed his craft by collaborating with bands like Exist, Mega, and Peace, as well as local artists such as Zamani, Faizal Tahir, and Jaclyn Victor. Armed with a degree in audio recording from SAE Technology College Kuala Lumpur, Wak’s passion for music led him to his current role as a Cultural
Artist at USM Cultural Centre. In 2022, he joined Sada Borneo as their bassist, adding his unique flair to the band’s captivating fusion of traditional and modern sounds.
NORHAFIZ BIN ISMAIL (APIT)

APIT is the rhythmic force behind the beats of Sada Borneo, embarking on his drumming journey at the age of 20 through self-learning. With years of dedication, he has mastered his craft. With a background in studio work dating
back to 2010 and experience playing for renowned acts like Meet Uncle Hussain, he’s established himself in the music
scene. Although he first performed with Sada Borneo in 2022, it wasn’t until 2023 that he officially joined, bringing his passion and skill to elevate the band’s musical fusion with his dynamic beat.
